Press review - May
Introducing the SENEF and Progiclean Press Review. This monthly press review is a digest of all the latest news from the cleaning sector. Here's the one for May.
Fare Propreté: combating illiteracy
Le Fare Propreté has developed an e-learning scheme to encourage employees' digital autonomy, in collaboration with 8 cleaning companies and Wetechcare. The program comprises 6 free modules focusing on essential smartphone skills, with a total duration of 3 hours. It provides supervised or autonomous learning of key internet functionalities: sending e-mails, attachments, scanning QR codes, performing searches, downloading applications, filling in online forms, etc. Learners can progress at their own pace, with quizzes and video tutorials.
Tools and resources are also available for companies to support their employees in this upskilling process. The scheme has received positive feedback and was presented at a conference at the French National Assembly. It can be accessed at www.monde-proprete.com.
Wouldn't this open the door to a check-in function?
Confirmation: Abolition of exceptional aid for hiring young people on professionalization contracts
The Journal Officiel of April 28 unfortunately recorded the government's decision to abolish, as of May 1, 2024, the exceptional aid of 6,000 euros granted to employers hiring young employees on professionalization contracts.
This decision thus reverses the government's initial intention to maintain this exceptional aid until December 31, 2024, putting an end to this aid eight months ahead of schedule.
However, the decree does not call into question the payment of aid for contracts signed before April 30.
The FEP Blue Book
FEP presents its Blue Book, summarizing its "24 solutions for 2024". The book focuses on four main areas.
- a fresh approach to markets,
- simplifying standards,
- preservation
-job creation and improving workers' employability.
This document is addressed to public decision-makers as a committed economic player. It is part of a series of government initiatives aimed at simplifying everyday life for the French. Drawing on recent reports and political announcements, FEP advocates measures such as reforming public and private procurement, reducing prescriptive bureaucracy, supporting employment in the service sectors and improving employee employability.
These proposals aim to free companies from red tape, encourage job creation and improve working conditions for employees.
