Cleaning world: Continuous and/or daytime work

Gabriel Attal talks about the cleaning sector. A key player in the development of employment, it is essential to improve the organization of services in public contracts, through a more virtuous practice of continuous and/or daytime work when activity permits.

As a reminder, Fédépropreté's Blue Book proposes a solution aimed at including in the French Public Procurement Code the systematization of feasibility studies for the introduction of continuous and/or daytime working in public procurement contracts, based on FEP's national work and taking up the recommendations of the French government, to improve the social conditions of cleaners by effectively reducing staggered and fragmented working hours.

Increase in public-sector waste management contracts, worth a total of €4.2 billion

In 2023, the value of public contracts for waste management rose by 14% to €4.2 billion. Last year, nearly 200,000 contracts were awarded, representing almost 10% of French GDP.
