Accelerate your ecological transition

The ecological transition has become an urgent necessity for businesses, responding to the growing call from scientists, civil society and international organizations to address environmental threats such as global warming, biodiversity loss and the scarcity of natural resources. This process involves not only the adoption of best practices, but also a complete transformation towards a sustainable economic and social model.

To initiate or accelerate this transition, companies face several challenges:

  • Business: Meeting customers' growing environmental expectations.
  • Economic: Coping with the increasing scarcity of fossil fuels and the rising cost of raw materials.
  • Employment and attractiveness: Meeting employees' expectations regarding environmental issues.
  • Innovation: Developing new technologies with reduced environmental impact.
  • Social dialogue: include environmental issues in discussions with the social and economic committee (CSE).
  • Financial: Comply with environmental criteria to obtain financing.

Cybersecurity & Artificial Intelligence

The survey conducted by the CPME on artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity in VSEs and SMEs reveals several significant results:

  1. Using AI :
    • Low adoption: A majority of VSEs and SMEs have not yet adopted AI. Lack of knowledge and the perceived complexity of AI are the main reasons cited.
    • Diverse sectors: Among companies using AI, the most concerned sectors are those of industry and services, where AI is mainly used for process automation and productivity enhancement.
  2. Cybersecurity concerns :
    • Vulnerability: Small businesses often consider themselves vulnerable to cyber-attacks, but many have not implemented adequate protection measures.
    • Lack of resources: Lack of budget and qualified personnel are major obstacles to implementing effective cybersecurity systems.
    • Awareness: Limited awareness of cybersecurity is observed among VSE and SME managers, increasing their exposure to risk.
  3. Proposed solutions :
    • Training: The survey highlights the need for better training and greater awareness of cybersecurity.
    • Government assistance: Companies are expressing a need for support. In particular, they need assistance or subsidies to strengthen their digital security.

These results highlight the need for VSEs and SMEs to improve their resilience in the face of technological and security challenges. In order to protect themselves effectively against the growing threats in the digital world.
